Public's Help Sought in Attempted Burglary of Larose Convenience Store

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for an attempted burglary at a Larose convenience store.
 
Shortly after 11:45 p.m. on Monday, May 26, deputies responded to a burglar alarm at the Smoke ‘N’ Go convenience store located at 13032 East Main Street in Larose. Upon arrival, deputies noticed a shattered window and a broken security camera lying on the ground. Through investigation, deputies determined the camera had likely been removed and used to break the window, but it did not appear that anything was taken from inside the store.
 
Investigators are asking for the public’s help to solve this crime. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Bayou Region. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest. Tips can be submitted through any one of these methods:
