Sheriff Craig Webre announced the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will host another FREE Hunter Education Field Day on the evening of Monday, September 23. The Field Day will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the LPSO Shooting Range located at 3451 Highway 182 in Raceland. Students planning to attend this Field Day MUST complete the online “Home Study Course” through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries website and present the completion voucher at the Field Day. Entry will be denied unless completed forms are presented. There will be a written test required to complete the Field Day. Students should NOT bring firearms or ammunition, but snacks are permitted.
