Raceland Man on Probation Found with Drugs and Body Armor

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre reported the arrest of a Raceland man who was found with narcotics and body armor during a “home check” by Probation and Parole agents. Brandon Grabert (W/M, D.O.B. 10/21/87) of 4046 Highway 1 is back in jail after being released from jail six weeks ago when he was placed on supervised probation.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, November 19, agents with Louisiana Probation and Parole were checking on Grabert at his residence per the terms of his supervised probation regarding prior drug charges including Possession of methamphetamine and steroids. With assistance from the Lafourche Parish Drug Task Force, agents conducted a search of Grabert’s home and discovered suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a bullet-proof vest.

Grabert was placed under arrest and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux. He was booked with Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia, as well as Unlawful Use of Body Armor (R.S. 14:95.3). He is currently being held in lieu of $51,000 bond, and he is also being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole.
