1/14/2014 by Brennan Matherne

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a Thibodaux man wanted for an armed robbery at a Thibodaux Casino in December turned himself over to authorities on Monday. Delric Hadley (B/M, D.O.B. 01/28/88) of 610 Government Circle surrendered himself at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux after learning a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
At around 2 a.m. on Friday, December 13, detectives responded to the Jungle Casino in Thibodaux and learned a man armed with a semi-automatic handgun had entered the casino, disarmed the security guard, and attempted to enter the cashier's booth. After being unable to enter the booth, he fled the scene in a black truck, which patrol deputies later determined had been stolen earlier that day. Patrol deputies later located the truck in a ditch along Robichaux Road with a black ski mask inside.
Through investigation into the incident, detectives were able to develop Hadley, also known as “Dunn,” as a suspect in the case and obtained a warrant for his arrest last week. After learning about the warrant, Hadley turned himself in at the Detention Center on Monday, January 13. He was booked per the warrant for Armed Robbery, and he was also booked on an outstanding warrant for Contempt of Court for Thibodaux City Court due to a parking violation. He is being held in lieu of $150,050 bond as set by the warrants.
