Detectives Investigating Bridal Shop Burglary

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the burglary of a bridal shop in Galliano earlier this month.
 
On Monday, February 10, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at Elaine’s Bridal, located at 17816 West Main Street in Galliano. Deputies learned the owner discovered the burglary when arriving to the business on Monday morning around 7 a.m., but the burglary could have occurred any time after 12 noon on Friday, February 7. Cash was taken from the register which appeared to have been pried open.
 
Detectives are asking for the public’s help to solve this crime. Anyone with any knowledge of this burglary is asked to contact Bayou Region Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest. Tips can be submitted through any one of these methods:
