Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre reported the arrest of a man and a woman from Lockport wanted in connection to a home invasion in Terrebonne Parish which occurred in June. Breiun Folse (33, B/M) of 404 East Lafourche Street and Jennifer Truxillo (31, W/F) of 504 Hyland Drive were arrested at a Raceland apartment Thursday after the Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip about their location.
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office had previously reported that at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, a female from 130 Santiago Court in Houma reported that an acquaintance, later identified as 25-year-old Chasity Gaddis of Houma, visited her residence. During that encounter, a male suspect brandishing a handgun forced entry into her home and robbed her of money. The suspect fled the scene prior to law enforcement's arrival. TPSO detectives determined that Gaddis had been involved in the home invasion, and she was arrested the following week. They also identified the male suspect as Breiun Folse and later determined a third person, Jennifer Truxillo, had also been involved in the home invasion. Warrants were subsequently issued for Folse and Truxillo.
Then on Thursday, August 14, a concerned citizen placed a call to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office stating Folse and Truxillo were currently at an apartment building in Raceland. Deputies responded to the location and made contact with the two where they were taken into custody without incident.
Folse also had two active warrants in Lafourche Parish stemming from a February 2014 incident in Raceland wherein he struck his ex-girlfriend in the face and strangled her. He fled the scene with her phone and keys. The victim contacted the Sheriff’s Office, and warrants were issued for Folse’s arrest on charges of Domestic Abuse Battery Involving Strangulation with Child Endangerment and Theft.
Truxillo and Folse were transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux. Truxillo was booked as a Fugitive of Terrebonne Parish where her bond amount on the Home Invasion warrant is $300,000. Folse is also being held as a Fugitive of Terrebonne Parish where his bond on the Home Invasion charge was set at $500,000. He was additionally booked on the warrants for Lafourche Parish where his bond is set at $6,000 by Judge F. Hugh Larose.
