Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced 25-year-old Kaitlyn Pinell Matherne made contact with a family member on Wednesday, April 12 and is reportedly safe. Matherne was last seen by family members on Friday, March 31 around 11 p.m. in the Meadowland Subdivision in Bayou Blue where she resides. Matherne made contact with a relative via a video chat on Wednesday morning and reported that she is safe.
