Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Jarin Matuyo (age 33) of New Orleans on Sunday, April 16. At around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, deputies responded to LA Highway 308 in Raceland in reference to a vehicle driving slowly in the middle of the roadway. He was later identified as Jarin Matuyo, and deputies learned he had three active warrants for his arrest. He later was subjected to a breathalyzer test which showed him to have a blood alcohol level of 0.229g%. Matuyo was arrested and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center where he was booked with DWI (3rd Offense), Resisting an Officer, no driver’s license, and improper lane usage. He was also booked on three outstanding warrants for Contempt of Court. His bond is set at $11,900.
