Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced three men were arrested in connection to a residential burglary. Jordon Molaison (age 22), Luis Pedraja (age 29), and Paul Wyman Jr. (age 19), all of Thibodaux, each faces charges stemming from the incident.
On April 5, deputies responded to a report of several hundred dollars of items stolen from a residence located in the 900 block of LA Highway 20 in Thibodaux. The items were valued at several hundred dollars and included audio equipment and a nail gun. Detectives began an investigation and initially developed Molaison as a suspect in the burglary. Through investigation, detectives learned Molaison had sold the stolen equipment to another man with Wyman’s assistance, they obtained arrest warrants for each. As detectives continued their investigation, they also learned Pedraja assisted Molaison with the burglary, and they obtained additional warrants for each.
Molaison was already in jail due to being arrested on April 7 for five contempt warrants. He was booked on the additional warrants for Simple Burglary and Illegal Possession of Stolen Things, and his bond is currently set at $115,000.
Detectives made contact with Wyman on April 11, and he admitted to his involvement. He was arrested and charged with Illegal Possession of Stolen Things. He booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and released the same day after posting $1,000 bond.
Detectives made contact with Pedraja on Wednesday, April 19, and he was taken into custody. He was booked into the Detention Center with Simple Burglary, and his bond is set at $50,000.
