Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Dana Bouzigard (age 48) of Larose for her fourth DWI offense. Just after 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, deputies traveling along LA Highway 308 in Larose observed a truck traveling across the center line. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Dana Bouzigard. While speaking to Bouzigard, deputies detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. Bouzigard submitted to a field sobriety test on which she performed poorly. A breathalyzer test showed her to have a blood alcohol content of .087g%. She was arrested and charged with DWI (4th Offense) and improper lane usage. She was booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux. Her bond is set at $50,100.
