Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre initially reported that on Saturday, August 25^, 2018, that deputies were called to respond to reports of a shooting just after 2 AM, in the 200 block of Williams Street in Raceland, LA. Upon arrival, deputies located the male victim, Timon Nash, 38, who had died due to several gunshot wounds to his body.

Further investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in a shooting altercation one day prior wherein he had been struck in the forearm.
