Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening in the Marydale community in Thibodaux. One man was injured in the shooting.

Just before 7:30 p.m. on September 25, 2022, deputies responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the area of Carol Street in Thibodaux. One man was struck by at least one round and taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.

Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
